6th Arab – Hellenic Economic Forum

The Arab-Hellenic Chamber of the 6th Arab-Hellenic Economic Forum in Athens, on 29-30 November 2017, called on the Arab-Hellenic Chamber to address its main role in the promotion and strengthening of Arab-Greek relations and its access to modernization in the provision of special services to its member companies and business communities of both sides. November 30, 2017, under the slogan “Greece and the Arab World: Predict a Common Future”. The themes of this forum explored investment opportunities, incentives and facilitations and included digital and technological progress and their impact on the creation of new economic facts. The program includes presentations of various start-ups and business experience, as well as funding, enlargement and partnership perspectives between Arab and Greek entrepreneurs. The Forum focused on the traditional energy, construction and marine and port industry sectors and touched on business and investment opportunities in these areas. The initiative of the Arab-Hellenic community in the field of technology transfer and know-how formed the basis for further exploration of business opportunities and joint ventures in the real estate, construction and food industries. Selected forum themes and contact points for presentation, discussion and networking, and organized B2B meetings contributed to the positive and fruitful outcome of this forum.

Arab – The Slovak Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture also participated and participants from Arab countries presented the possibilities of cooperation, production and supply of their Slovak and non-Slovak members. The Arab side was interested in cooperation with Slovak suppliers.
