In 2016, united by the need to identify and collectively act in consideration of the common interests of EU and the Arab World and the commitment to work jointly in key priority areas, we – in collaboration with the Greek Government – decided to create a platform of engagement and dialogue in order to examine all standing issues and possible ways to ameliorate them.
In this endeavor we enjoy the endorsement of H.E the Prime Minister of Greece and the support of the Greek Government, while we look forward to be granted once more the auspices of H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Prokopios Pavlopoulos.
Based on the huge success of the first Summit being held on 2016 and the significant progress of the second Summit on 2017 which both boosted the need for a sequel, the 3rd EU Arab World Summit – Shared Horizons is a unique bridge of communication between two rapidly changing worlds, providing the necessary platforms of cooperation for a more efficient future.
The EU-Arab World Summit
